Sometimes you just wake up on the wrong side of the bed. We all have mornings like this. Or we planned to have a good day, however we receive a frustrating email or a co-worker/family member says something that drives us crazy. This completely sends your day into a tail spin. What can you do to turn it around?
Follow this 3 step process to turn it around.
- Make a choice to turn your day around vs. just having a terrible day.
- Create a strategy to move your day forward. Think of what the next best step is to move your challenge/obstacle forward (then put it into action)
- Then fake it…pretend like you are having a good day and have a positive attitude. Before you know it you will be having a good day with a positive attitude. Your subconscious mind believes what you tell it.
Today I was visiting with a coaching client. She had a very challenging morning. We talked her thru the above 3 steps, she completely turned her day around. Her day went from terrible to terrific. Fantastic Results. So the next time you are having a difficult day turn it around.
